THE FOLLOWING EMAIL WAS SENT TO HARPO STUDIOS:
Chicago, IL USA:
Dear Oprah & Staff: As a Baby Boomer & Renaissance Woman, I find it very important to keep in shape. In order to do this, I have been biking (non-stop, and yes even in Chicago Winter's) throgh the streets of Chicagoland, USA) in order to keep fit.
I AM HAPPY TO REPORT: Since Feb. 25, 1997, I have taken off 4 inches of 'baby fat' from my hips - this is great news as I am a writer/creatif - known as 'America's Premier Eventologist' and could sit for 15 hours per day, content, doing my writing, correspondence, research, etc.
My carbon footprint is 0.56 which I am very proud of.
PURPOSE OF THIS NOTE: My connection to your Campaign is that I physically & literally SEE IT ALL, Oprah while on The BIKE (which has 3 speeds: Slow - Slower & Slowest - depending on how energized I am. I don't need a fancy bike to get me around -- one that serves its purpose.
By career and nature, I am (as a rider/writer) @ THE POINT of stopping for any given situation or occurrence that looks slightly, remotely 'bizarre' and out of the ordinary.
After all, the statistics state how 'dangerous' it is on the streets across America and the industrialized world (I would assume). And, we are not even taking crime and handguns into account here.
A few moments of 'stopping' and letting the vehicle go past is 'nothing' - altho all time is precious (esp. at my age!) when it comes to being hurt, injured or incapacitated.
My usual daily bike ride is 14 miles round trip.
I keep a blog called Koopersmithin' (a take off of my last name as they say 'you've made it if they make a verb out of your name)where I record my biking experiences and mileage.
On this bike which was purchased on May 29, 2008, I have gone over 4400 miles - and haven't even left the county. There's tons of wonderful places to visit in Chicago -- and to get there safely -- without text messaging, phoning or applying make-up or eating your yogurt (yes, I saw a woman with her spoon in her right hand & her cup of yogurt in her left, propped up on her steering wheel) pull into the Jewel on Green Bay Rd. in Wilmette a few weeks ago.
INSERT: As of Today, he last day of April 2010, I've biked 4430 miles...since May 29 of 2008...
Stopping and letting these 'unconscious-able' people become distracted from their goal (of going from Point A to Point B) is a safety measure that everyone should take up.
As a matter of fact, MORE people should bike...getting a cardiovascular workout and keeping our world green are only 2 of its benefits! I have not driven since I was 26 so I've been doing your campaign for decades now.
Thank you for taking a stand on this critical issue. It direly needs to be spotlighted. No person should have to worry about getting safely back and forth.
There's a place for everything - even electronics. I kiddingly tell people "I had a life before email, but I can't remember what it was." Alexander G. Bell would roll over in his grave if he knew his Phone was killing 'us' off!
You go, GIRL!
Sincerely,
ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith

BRIT WEEK ARRIVES IN LA: Friday, April 23, 2010...
Chicago, IL USA:
If a Genie granted me 3 Wishes the First is to win the latest 2010 Scriptapalooza Contest and the 2ND one would be to attend:
BRIT WEEK – Film & TV Summit on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Beverly Hilton.
That’s tomoro for those reading this.
BRIT WEEK is in association with the British Academy of Film & Television Arts in Los Angeles. As their Ad in Daily Variety (for Wednesday, March 24, 2010) states: It is the place where industry leaders in film, TV & digital media meet – with opportunities in the UK for Film & TV content creators.
Isn’t that every one who pens a script? And those serious about their career - especially when crossing 'The Great @lantic Pond?'
Resources. Networking. Programming trends and the Big Question of: Why do British Projects succeed or fail in the US and vica versa. I’m sure Paul and Mick have known that answer for decades now.
For those parties & individuals interested in this Event, there is a website: www.britweek.org/film or you may contact LINDA BUCKLEY directly at: lbuckley(at)reedbusiness(dot)com for additional info.
The Highlight - one of the many -- will be their Gala Dinner that honors Sir Richard Branson (who puts the 'Pop' into Popular Culture and the 'Dare' into DareDevil). A Live Performance by David Archuleta is also slated. The evening's proceeds will benefit two significant charities, namely: Save the Children and Virgin Unite.
Yes, attending BRIT WEEK – Film & TV Summit would be my Second Wish. Besides the fact that Dick Wolf of Wolf Films is going to be 1 of the keynote speakers, one of 6 pictured on Page 7 of Variety, a publication that should be read just to ‘keep up with it all.’ I believe Dick is from LAW & ORDER fame, one of my very favorite TV programs.
There’s no time to delay!
My Third & Final Wish? Besides wishing for 3 more? Well, that’s a Secret – that may appear in a Script for the 13TH Annual Scriptapalooza Contest!

SKiNsights from Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith. The Release is on...
SKiNsights
SKiN + insights = SKiNsights®
From ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith
The eNewsletter: Premier Edition*
Chicago, IL USA: As I sit and think of whom my audience is, I really don’t have to go any further than the Name of my Manuscript and its 5 adjoining Sequels unbrella’d under the Title of:
SKiN: Sacred Kinship in Nature™
How 10 Beloved Plush Toys Redefine Race ©2009.
This 4-letter word alone says it all. Because you and all others are clad in SKiN and in the briefest manner (since time is precious and attention spans are short) you are receiving this eNote.
Not all people with Skin have email.
However, all people do have Skin. This is the common denominator that joins us all.
Therefore, only about 50,000,000 of these SKiNsights are being released today and yes, you are one of the lucky ones.
My 2 main Focuses today are to tell you about my latest Creative Endeavor and to entice an Industry Pro. That’s because not all People with Skin have accessible Email Addresses. Therefore, I’m hoping that if you have access to any influential and prestigious movie producers and/or book publishers, you can help me get the Intro Package to that person.
Your Comments are always appreciated. For any thoughts or comments you may have on SKiN, Racism and Living in The 21ST Century, please contact me at:
askoopersmith(at)hotmail(dot)com
Copies of the first Half of Project: SKiN are now for sale.

4300 Miles in 23 months...you do the Math...
Chicago, IL USA
Miles and Math always seem to go together. As of today, April 13, 2010, I have peddled 4300 miles without even leaving my state -- I did leave the county on a few occasions. And now with Spring/Summer entering into the picture, I hope to accrue at least 100 miles every day now. Well, that would be a bit too much since work falls into the computation but for those who need to trim down and build up their cardiovascular, I certainly urge them to trade in the car for a bike and leave a few minutes early. The exercise will turn you into a healthier person; as well as being greener for the environment.

Pizza like non-other. Chef Grant's Have Pizza Will Travel...without the Guilt but all of the Taste. Order yours today.
PETTOLA IS GETTING ALL FIRED UP ABOUT PIZZA
LONG BEACH, CA (4/05/10) – When you think about pizza, it's easy to imagine picking up the phone and waiting for the delivery guy to drop it off in a box. But one Southern California caterer is cooking up tasty wood-oven pizzas the traditional Italian way, and the delivery isn’t in a box. Pettola’s pizzas are cooked fresh right in your backyard.
When Chef Grant Matthews first started dreaming about owning his own business, he never imagined he’d be one of the only guys in town traveling with his wood-fired oven. Originally from Canada, Chef Matthews was looking for a way to stay in the restaurant business without the traditional hours that can affect a marriage. “When I first came here I was working the opposite hours of my wife Leanna, who worked days. We literally would not see each other for a week, but now she and I work together at parties. It’s great, I make them and she bakes them.”
In the summer of 2008, Matthews built a wood oven on his patio from scratch on top of an industrial cart using 800 lbs. of lava rock, sand, brick and cement. The oven worked as a stationary unit, but the axle bent and the wheels sagged and it couldn’t move. “I was disappointed that my idea was almost crushed along with the wheels of the cart – but I was determined to not give up” said Matthews. He researched on the internet and found an oven on wheels from Portugal that would do the trick. It was delivered and he was ready to pursue his dream.
Chef Matthews prides himself on using as many California ingredients as possible. “Right now the only ingredient I’m using which is not from California is the 00 flour from Italy. I think it is nice to support my home state by focusing on local products”.
He dishes up incredibly tasty pizzas like the Pizza Leanna (named after his wife’s favorites of sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and artichoke hearts) and the Marga-Meata (a traditional Margherita pizza with the added benefit of pepperoni). He offers these pre-designed specialty pizzas but is also open to his client’s ideas of the perfect pizza combination. Pettola Pizza has three types of parties to fit everyone’s budgets.
“This is definitely a niche market I’ve tapped into.” says Matthews, “Clients who hire Pettola are looking for something different and unique for their entertaining”.
“It's not just the flavor and aroma of our pizzas that make Pettola parties a hit”, Matthews said. "Pizzas from a wood-fired oven have a much more natural taste, and the smell of fruit woods is unbelievable. But there is definitely an entertainment factor from witnessing the whole process, created and cooked right before your eyes.”

For all the Individualized Fools of April Fools Day - 2010
Chicago, IL USA:
It doesn't take alot of time to figure out that the Census are do today -- and that's not an April Fool's Day Joke -- the government wants to know how many are living in that apartment that just never seems to have enough room.
With that in mind for those so wondering, my 3rd Script is now at the 135 page mark and contains 32,655 words. A few more drafts and it will be hoisted off to the freight offices of Fed Ex and shipped to California...
FAVORITE WORD OF THE DAY: Individual. It deals with only one entity, but its last 4letters are DUAL which means 2. How confusing is that. I'm only glad I didn't have to learn the language, I was born here to use it up writing blogs like this.
