ASK's Take on The 60s & that’s not the 1960s. "Sexty @ Sixty." Agelessness according to ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith..

DATELINE: Tuesday, December 11, 2012 - 1:30 PM CST

Chicago, IL USA

What about those of us who are OVER 60? Although many individuals never want to admit that they are or admit it, it's a great time of life.

We have gone through alot.

We have contributed alot.

And we're looking forward to doing still more.

In early 2010 when my Lover turned 60, I coined the term:

“SEXTY @ SIXTY”®

2.5 years ago and that mere 3 word phrase as gotten miles of mileage and smileage like U would not believe!

And, we are still working it on a perpetual bases!

AS FOR: Those in their 50s - well they're still BABIES! Don't give them too much credit -- they're picking up most of their pointers from us Older and Bolder Models.

Calling the Top 10 Movers & Shakers in the TOY Industry.

THE QUESTION OF THE DAY IS:

Who are the top/major 10 Movers and Shakers in THE TOY INDUSTRY whose ‘CLOUT’ can ‘move’ a product – i.e.: into the major Animation Studios?  I have a Movie Script that beat out 3,164 others in a Hollywood (California)-based International Screenwriting Competition in July of 2010 that needs a ‘shove’ in the ‘write’ direction, we could say.

Furthermore, it is part and parcel of a Series (7 in total) that would be ideal for Animation. The Characters (you see) are ALL TOYS taken from my Private Toy Collection. Quite ‘charming’ if I say so.  And, since Animation is so TOY-like in nature, stance, and framework, I thought I’d ask YOU if YOU happen to know this Answer or can shed any light on how I should proceed.

Thank you so much!

Cheers, ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith

ASK, the Award-Winning Chicago Writer, seeks Literary Agent to rep Eventology, SKiN & ‘Bird Story’ to Publishing & Movie Industries.

Friday, November 30, 2012

Attn:  Top 312 Literary Agents as listed in LMP: Literary Market Place 2013

(in alphabetical order)

RE:  Introducing the Works & Words of ASK: ADRiENNE SiOUX KOOPERSMiTH

Seeking Representation in the Publishing + Movie  Industries

TO:  Selected Literary Agents via LMP: Literary Market Place 2013

Product, brand and name recognition are what I have been working on and advancing the last 22 years.  Because I have had this amazing period of time to build my Brand; obtain a diversified fan base (from around the world) and name recognition based on the instantaneous recognition of my initials ‘ASK’ alone besides my quantities of quality Content (in a world now where ‘Content reigns as King’), I have developed a vast array of unique projects and original products where there is ‘something for everyone of every discriminating taste, style and demeanor.’   This creative Effort has arisen in the following three (3) main Accomplishments:

ACCCOMPLISHMENT #1:

Date of Creation:  July 25, 1990 - Present

Usages:  Books / Calendars / Calendar-of-The-Month Club(s) / Greeting Card Line / TV/Radio Shows / Literary Lecture Circuit

I created, developed, introduced and promoted the new Literary Form(at)  and Genre (to the world) called:

EVENTOLOGY:

The ART of EVENT-making:

Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith’s Campaigns for Humanity©1990

that is composed of 1,900 HOLIDATES (falling into 34 specific  categories), derived from the 2 words:

HOLIDAYS + DATES = HOLIDATES

that I define as:  Goodwill, Humanitarian, Altruistic, Educational, Recreational, Spiritual, Fun-Time and Fun-Type EVENTS.  Therefore the term:

EVENTOLOGY

encompasses all that is found in this ‘House of  HOLIDATES.’

Think of me as Hallmark’s biggest competitor.  The Calendar Marketing Association (of Libertyville, Illinois) bestowed two (2) of their annual Awards on my EVENT-O-PEDIA: 1997.  as ‘Most Creative/National and Most Creative/International’ in their yearly calendar competition.

Interestingly enough, Four Hundred (400) of these special occasions deal with Food and are aptly called: EAT-Vents that comes along with its own adjoining EAT-Vent-O-Pedia ©1998.  Just imagine if I had my own TV program on the Food Network with these EAT-Vents.  Friends refer to me as:

‘The Martha Stewart of the Event-Planning World’

and with good reason – 1,900 of them to be exact that spans 22 years of time, space and originality.

Furthermore, because of this massive Body of Works & Words, I’ve been deemed as:

America’s Premier Eventologist

 by Gene Koprowski of Insight Magazine of Washington, DC in August of 1997;

&

The Premier Eventologist in The History of The World

by Eric Zorn of The Chicago Tribune in January of 2001.

THE INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED MEDIA THAT HAS SPOTLIGHTED, INTERVIEWED OR FEATURED MY WRITINGS / CONCEPTS / PHILOSOPHIES

This comprises a built-in Audience.  At the time of these Interviews,

I did not have a Book out.

This was all done via the unbridled Talents of Word-of-Mouth and Word-of-Mouse.

TO REITERATE:  Upon launching EVENTOLOGY on Wednesday, July 25, 1990 at 9:45 AM, Interviews about ME as a noted Writer, Trendsetter and ‘Someone to Watch’ appeared in:

USA Today, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Insight Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times, Time Magazine Online,  ESPN: The Magazine; Fast Company, Redbook, More Magazine, Woman’s World, Sports Illustrated For Kids, Village Voice, Nickelodeon, The Times Picayune, The Gainesville Sun, The Springfield News-Leader, Dave Egger’s Might Magazine, The Milwaukee-Journal-Sentinel, The Detroit Free Press, The Daily Herald, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Advocate/Greenwich Time, The San Antonio Express, The Dallas Morning News, Skyline, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Home Cooking, Cooking Light, Chase’s Calendar of Events, The Daily Northwestern, Popular Photography and Imaging, Shutterbug, Kennedy’s Confection (London, England), Eric Cohen Books (Israel) and an Estonian Newspaper as well as employing an endless Assortment of Websites, Blogs, Facebook Postings, ‘Tweets’ on  Twitter, LinkedIn and other popular Media and Social Networks.  ABC, NBC, CBS & MSNBC Television Networks have also featured me for my Creation of these EVENTOLOGICAL and Scholarly Works.

EVENTOLOGY is an entire Industry as the above in-depth explanation details and should be handled and treated in such a methodical way that Investors participate in its future growth potential since I have created/coined the Concept and fuelled it on my own the last 22 years.

ACCCOMPLISHMENT #2:

Date of Creation:  January 29, 2009 - Present

Usages:  Books / Movies / TV Shows / ‘Diversity & Teaching Tolerance’ Lecture Circuits / Line of TOYS

A Series of 7 manuscripts/movie scripts called:

SKiN: SACRED KINSHIP iN NATURE

How 10 Beloved Plush TOYS Redefine Race ©2009

features TOYS from my private TOY Collection that I have been collecting since Birth.  The Series’ Philosophies focus on the three  most important issues of today – namely,  how to:

- eliminate Racism;

- dispel the Mixed Signals and Ironies that we  Humans receive every Day; and

- get to the Heart of what really matters

All this (plus more) is seen through the Eyes of TOYS  that are indeed the hottest and most popular commodity in Hollywood today, or ever.  Lining up my TOYS  with the proper Animation Studio is what I currently need to have done by a Literary Agent today.

Remember this is a long-term Project since

4/7 Scripts/Manuscripts

are completed as of the 4TH Quarter of 2012.

Script #3 of the SKiN Series called:

iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009

beat out 3,164 other scripts in Scriptapalooza’s International Screenplay Competition, based in Hollywood, California in July of 2010.  Since then, iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009 has been rewritten as 2 scripts and 2 manuscripts allowing it to have a longer shelf-life while impacting its universal storyline.  Scriptapalooza only uses industry professionals to read these scripts and decide who the winners are.  Therefore, I know this series has the ‘balls to carry it down the red carpet’ and into the Hallways of Pop Culture, History and Literature.  , iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS latest Logline appears on my Blog, KOOPERSMITHIN’ at:

http://tinyurl.com/btzh666

Four (4) of the seven (7) manuscripts/movie scripts are complete.  This is a multi-year project with far-reaching Consequences, Appeal, Charisma and POW-tential as the Scriptapalooza judges claimed.

ACCCOMPLISHMENT #3:

The Bird Who Didn’t Learn How To Fly ©1998

Date of Creation/Publishing:  October, 1998

Ages:  4 and older

Usage:  Book / Short Animation Feature / Line of TOYS

The Story of how an ‘Underling’ in a Family of Birds rises to the occasion and saves his Family Members’ lives when a life-threatening Situation occurs.  A Contemporary Fairy Tale set in Nature, but with a Human and Humane Twist involved.  Said Text is also accompanied by an ‘Issues Covered Page’ and a ‘BIRDictionary’ containing 108 key terms – all designed specifically to enhance and enrich the Storyline about the Feather Family’s escapades.  Illustrations were penned by Jean-Ignace-Isidore Grandville (1803-1847).  Incorporating EVENTOLOGY into this Story’s formula:  1999 was slated as THE YEAR OF THE BIRD to salute this wide and wild range of Birds, their uniqueness and our fondness for them.

That concludes the first Set of Material that I have penned and promoted that needs literary and cinematic representation.

PURPOSE OF THIS CORRESPONDENCE:

At this time, I am mainly interested in finding a literary agent who has the convictions and connections to ‘move’ these Works that has proven to be very popular the last 22 years.

FINALLY:  The above three entities may not have interested you, but you see the ‘Vast Potential’ in my Writing Abilities and realize that I have influenced ‘The Media’ to expose ‘the Story behind My Stories.’   As a Natural Born Writer, I possess much more material (outside of the top 3  topics presented to you above) that is conveniently listed on my 3 blogs that follow for your perusal, namely:

It is here where you may find yet another title of interest to rep. Please feel free to forward this letter to any other agents you know that may have the leads that I need.  I’ll be happy to give a percentage to you for your work in its furtherment (when placed).

Moreover, my Business Resumé at:

http://tinyurl.com/98szgoz

lists my skills that lend themselves towards how I create as I do that have a definite Effect on how I ‘put the Pop into Pop(ular) Culture’ and subsequently why these Writings received the vast amount of  exposure they have received the last 2+ decades.

IN CLOSING:  There’s a lot of people that can be put to work here via these Projects I have thus scored.  There’s a lot of great sentiments to reinforce here within the Annals that I have created the last 22 years.  There’s a lot of money to be made here.  By working together, a win-win situation is perpetuated, not only for the furtherance of Great Literature that withstands the test of time, but in keeping the Creative Spirit alive and inspiring that in others who pursue their ART – their Passion and their Free Will.

Thank you for your serious consideration.  I hope to hear from you soon…

Sincerely,

iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009: Its Latest LogLine unveiled & revealed.

iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009

LOGLINE: 2012

HOW 10 BELOVED PLUSH TOYS REDEFINE RACE ©2009

iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009 is Part 3 of 7 in this Series.

ANTS’ beat out 3,164 other Scripts in

Scriptapalooza’s International Screenplay Competition

based in Hollywood, California on July 23, 2010.

It has since been rewritten as 2 Books/2 Movies.

Meeting ‘GiANT’ at the Muckety-Muck, The ANT Family of 31 Members embarks upon an ANT-venture where Mother Nature and Father Time explain 3 mystifying Lessons that transcend every Species here on Planet Earth. Aesopian in stance (or stANTS), Wordicologists will grin broadly and smile widely while marveling at the 245 ANT-abulary (the ANTs’ SlANT dealing with Vocabulary) that draws the Reader in to this Kingdom – make that ANT-dom, instead.  Keeping relevANT to all things in the Pop Culture Vein, iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009 also spotlights a Remake of Carly Simon’s 1971 Hit Song, ANTicipation.  As 2 Scripts and Manuscripts (hopefully Movies and Books) merge, iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009 emerges as a Valuable Lesson where ‘Big and Little’ leaves a deep and indelible impression, completing the Circle of Life where ‘happily ever after’ does really happen.

Watch where you step

ASK's Latest Quote/Unquote: "Stressed but Blessed..."

ASK ON THOSE QUOTES: Just wrote to one of my friends and came up with the darndest best quote I've ever said in ages. And it is: Sound those bugles - trombones and saxophones:

"Stressed but Blessed..."
Sunday, November 25, 2012 - 4:52 PM CST

Yup, that's how I view this weekend of ours. Not only did it rhyme, but it was and is so true to so many of us Americans across the board and bored.

Thought I'd get it going viral! Also will be posted on my blog next.   (C)1952-2012.  ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith All Rights Reserved.     Also posted on: Facebook.com/AdrienneSiouxKoopersmith & Twtiter.com/ASK_Koopersmith     =====================================

The easiest Step to take to get your MOVIE SCRIPT discovered.

The following sKOOP from KOOP-ersmith wa salso  posted at:  Facebook.com/Adrienne.Sioux.Koopersmith & Twitter.com/ASK_Koopersmith

* * * * * * * * * *

ASK/Chicago on:   Attn:  Screenwriters and Story Tellers.  I figured it out.  Finally.  That age old problem of how to get   discovered B-4 U become 2 old, antiquated & demented.  Here’s 1 way that may have startling, if not brilliant results.

There is an excellent directory called:  LMP that stands for Literary Market Place that is printed annually (with updates) in 3 different sections. Volume 1 lists literary agents.  While you’re busy, writing away, it’s reassuring to know (in the back of your mind) that someone has an interest in your material and is ‘out there’ WORKING 4 U on your behalf.

Using this as my Strategy as the year draws to an end, I decided to make a change; take the plunge and connect with some of them while developing my email list to include these heavy hitters.

Needless to say there are hundreds of literary reps, all being unique in what genres they deal (with).

However, some of them are also concerned about film, movie and foreign rights, which is what we screenwriters need in order to place our W&W:  Works & Words.  The larger libraries most often keep the latest version of LMP – in their reference department.  It can never be checked out, but you’ll be awed by what you see within those directories.

There are also publishers and contests to enter if you think your Piece really rocks and you want to get MORE mileage from it.

I’m just concerned now with placing iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009, my 2010 Scriptapalooza Intl Screenplay Competition Winner (that beat out 3164 other scripts).  Then, I’ll sleep better at night.  You may have written something that needs its break as well.

It’s well worth your time sitting down and pulling out the names/contacts you need.  Each listing tells a very small description that you can apply to your work to see if there is a ‘fit.’  It’s challenging, but well worth the effort. All it takes is a single email submission query and there’s no telling what will begin to happen for you come 2013.

LMP is online at:  http://www.literarymarketplace.com/lmp/us/index_us.asp

Give it a try – I dare yea.
