Chicago, IL USA:
As I sat and stared at the small clock at the bottom of my computer screen, I thought of where I was when the Terrorists destroyed our Peace of Mind and Sense of Security 8 years ago today:
The 11th of September in 2001.
Years previously, I had started a HOLIDATE called: 911 Day (C)1997 that was so well accepted Sandy Whitney, the Editor of Chase's Calendar of Events noted it (as her favorite Event of their Entire Directory) during an Interview she did about my Holidates done for the Dallas Morning News, a popular and wide-circulated newspaper. Little would I know that it would be TRIED TO ITS MAX...only a few years later.
WHEN WHAT IFs ARE CONSIDERED:
Imagine what Accomplishments could have been done by the thousands of people who had lost their lives...
Imagine the Families who would still be together a full life -- although quarrels and misunderstandings may have gotten in their way -- they would stil be IN TACT. That and not trusting others were 2 of the repercussions that the Circumstances surrounding 9-11 have left us. Not only Americans, but other societies around the world; many of which are clustered in wars, aggression and much more...
Sitting and thinking quietly about our Blessings is something we should all consider...at all times, not only those times when we are wrapped in sorrow.
