PREFACE: How can something so LITTLE ‘bug’ us so much! It’s not about Size, it’s about persistANTS. Enter: ANTS, the Root of many of our Words as well as Worlds. ANTS come ‘n go and have done that Act(ion) consistANTly for 170,000,000 years now. It may be impossible to calculate the total Number of RestaurANTS on the Planet Earth as it is to take a Census on each & every Living ANT, but it’s always possible to dream and to dream BiG. Since the Root Word of RestaurANT, undoubtedly is ANT, per my Creative Logic & Linguistic Observation and for the promotional Record, Sake & Sanctity of my Movie Script, its accompanying Book & Fairy Tale:

I can’t help but advance a Theory that will evidANTly change ‘The Course’ (Pun intended) of Modern Eating and take a ‘bite out’ (another intentional Pun) of our looming Problem of Global Warming and a rapidly changing Eco-System. That Concept is to hold an EVENTOLOGICAL HOLIDATE® (of which I am popularly noted as: ‘America’s Premier Eventologist’ & ‘The Premier Eventologist in The History of The World’) in which:

Every Restaurant across The World participates
(on a selected Day in August of 2011)

AUGUST IS ANT APPRECIATION MONTH ©2009.

Insects are mighty pertinANT in our Crop & Food Harvests. Studying them in their Habitats (that they share with us & it really is not the other Way around) is totally fascinating. Lifelong Careers have been formed focusing on The ANT-iquity of ANTS. An EVENT of this Nature (Pun #3 there) – whereby Restaurateurs – hold a Day-long Party with a Portion of the Proceeds advancing a Green Group (of which I will comprise that Listing) would be as great and beneficial as a Live Aids Concert. The Route? The EVENT starts in Australia (like Clockwork) and works its Way around The World, exactly like New Years’ Celebrations do.

In 2000, the International Hotel & Restaurant Association published an Excerpt or Research Report called ‘The Restaurant Revolution.’ Although a Decade old, the Statistics may be somewhat different (especially with the Proliferation of Reality TV Shows beginning in the 21ST Century catering to Food & all it encompasses); however, Dining & Wining continue to be ‘BIG Business’ and when combined with an importANT Cause as The Life of The Planet, mightier still.

IHRA’s Summary mentions Facts about the AmouNT of RestaurANTS that make this Special Occasion, WORLD RestaurANT DAY ©2010 especially enticing as:

- 8.1 million RestaurANTS in 103 Countries surveyed;

- Average of 78,313 RestaurANTS per Country;
