We are all concerned about GLOBAL PEACE. In our own Way (with what Talents and Tools We have), We must effortlessly work towards that Variety of Understanding that is based in Kindness, Goodwill and Empathy – Compassion towards all People. 

On The Eve of my 30TH Year Anniversary in 2020 of The Literary Genre: EVENTOLOGY® I created on July 25, 1990 at 9:45 PM CST, that is exactly what I have been quietly doing in The Background – ‘behind The Scenes’ amidst all The Clamor -  ‘One #HOLiDATE’ at a Time, Day-by-Day, Day-in & Day-out in order that People catch-on & learn that We are more alike than different. 

That The COLOR of our SKiN is to add DiVERSiTY and ‘color’ to our World, bringing HARMONY, not HARM.  Anything else would be Humdrum and Boring, Two Elements that do not put ‘The Pop into Popular Culture’ thus turning each Moment into a Success and an Accomplishment.  With over 2,500 HOLIDATES in 35 different Categories on Record and on my Roster along with a Series of Manuscripts called:

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #177 for Monday, December 15, 2014 is something you do not want to hear about.  It’s getting very, very close to the End of the Year and it’s time for your SPLURGE CLEANUP OF THE YEAR (SCOTY).  Any year, you choose. Some of you may not have been too anxious to keep up with those Yearly Splurges.  Now as 2014 ends, there’s been a Record 20 years of NATIONAL SPLURGE DAY happening since 1994. That’s historical and hysterical both, deciding on what side of the Boutique, Mall and Charge Card you are on.  Hopefully, you’ve been keeping up with all the SPLURGES you’ve made that you didn’t need so that you can ‘ReGift’ those now and thus save Time, Money and Effort doing the BUY – BUY – BUY Thang that so many active Consumers are caught up into.  Look at it this way: With all that STUFF lying around and the New Year coming in, don’t you really want to clean up (your act)?  Don’t you really need to clean it up? That’s the General Observation I’ve been making the last 60+ years.

If not, that’s totally your Decision (alone), as there are no Clues here, but as Calendars go, only have 16 Days remain and not even that Amount since 4 of those Days are Party Times.  If We count in the 7 Days of Kwanzaa, that takes up 5 more Days.  The Bottom Line is:  I am here to help you ‘Splurge Smarter,’ being the Conscience of Splurging-at-large, small and any Way you can or want to DO IT!

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #161 for Saturday, November 29, 2014 emerges us into the Biggest Buy-A-thon of the Year, a Year riddled with too much Violence, leading to irreparable Sorrow. Therefore, although 99% of THE PEOPLE are into the highly festive Holidays and Hoopla, it is hoped they will slow-down and look at those who have suffered unbearably this Year and have even made the ultimate Sacrifice: 

 

died for their Country fighting abroad  

and/or

have died on the Streets of America, killed unjustifiably. 

 

The Bottom Line is that there is too much bloodshed, fear and high anxiety that has grown out-of-control.

For those of our Brothers and Sisters; Mothers and Fathers; Aunts and Uncles; Neighbors and Friends, We hope that a Movement founded by ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith called:  #Cancel_Christmas that is making its Way through the Chambers of Social Media Networks will take hold.

 

These People (that we know) whose Lives have been snuffed out and  taken long before they were grew old (a nice Time in which to check-out) are no longer able to do the Action Activities you are doing Today – of which one is having the Ability to Shop-Spend-Splurge during Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, #Saturation_Sunday ©2014, Cyber Monday and Maxed-Out Credit Card Tuesday.  With so much of our Attention aimed at Shopping (instead of being grateful and appreciative), it’s time to get our Heads and Hearts screwed on the Right way.  To parallel the #Cancel_Christmas Campaign, ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith (Creator of National Splurge Day ©1994 now in its 20TH Year) is writing the Book/Movie Script for her thematic #Santa_Is_Retiring ©2014, a seriously Tragi-Comedic Take at what happens when Man becomes his own worst Enemy.
