The Great Chicago Fire #143 transforms National Splurge Day ©1994 into a Day of Global Volunteerism per ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith, America's Premier Eventologist.

The following 3 Paragraph Entry into Koopersmithin'  is derived from The Daily Splurge, part and parcel of National Splurge Day, one of ASK's top Ten Holidates:

#NationalSplurgeDay’s #TheDailySplurge #111 for Friday, October 10, 2014 is a local regionalized SPLURGE Retrospection that transports us back to Tuesday, October 10, 1871 when:  THE GREAT CHICAGO FIRE burned out-of-control for two long  days from Sunday, October 8 to Tuesday, October 10, after, supposedly Mrs. O’Leary’s Cow kicked over a Lantern that started the Blaze.

After a Fire, there isn’t much to SPLURGE about and over, but a Time overtakes the remaining Occupants when The Rebuilding & Reconstruction must begin.  That Process happened, of course, with the endless and diligent Help  of tens of thousands of People (from both near and afar and rest assured We were not wired or plugged in as We are now), as that Process and Progress continues to work today, making Chicago a Leader in Global Politics on every Forefront  that includes:

The Arts – Science – Technology – Economy – Food – Business –  Travel and  Education.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT IF YOU SO WISH TO DO:

For those of you feeling generous, Today is the Day to perform  Outreach Activities in your Community in Memory of THE GREAT CHICAGO FIRE. Destruction of Public Property and  Homelessness is the Aftermath of a random Fire.  Give to a local Shelter. Volunteer.  Feed a Hungry Person or  a Beggar on the Street today.  What you spend on your Daily Splurge can be siphoned into a greater Good and transform.  And, that’s good to do if you ask us at SPLURGE CENTRAL.
