GROUND HOG's DAY...For 122 years now, like clockwork, the Ground Hog is a busy guy. He's disturbed from a sound sleep by People that already know that Spring is due in by March 21. When was the last time you appreciated being woken up? I don't appreciate it -- that's for sure! Can't we commemorate THE DAY with a week long celebration instead - eventological in Nature (no pun really intended) - make it GROUND HOG's WEEK (C)2010 where grade school kids, conservationists and the media find out what makes this Animal 'tick.' After all, he's been on the Planet for 5 million years...that's a long, long time!

only because...every Day is Ground Hog's Day to him and he wants to share the sentiment. Go figure. If you can't DO THE MATH -- you should move to a warm clinate where you don't have to count the Days till warmth hits. 122 years of being woken up constitutes Cruelty to Animals, if you "ASK" me.
