ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith of Chicago reflects back: The Difference a Year makes...

23 of them as a matter of fact.

Today marks the Golden Anniversary of the Date, Monday, December 23, 1991 at 6 PM sharp when I was viciously beat-up, robbed and left-for-dead in the lobby of my (then) home & apartment on West Rosemont in Chicago.

Because of that horrific Event, I went on to create the ground-breaking Crime Alert Prevention Crusade called:

CARTOONISTS AGAINST CRIME (C)1991

that earlier culminated in the Literary Format I introduced to the WORLD called:

Eventology (R)

The Art of Event-Making
Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith's Campaigns for Humanity (C)1990

of which Crime Prevention became a major PLAYER in all segments of my life, as well as those of every person trying to live their life every day in the safest of manners.

This Golden Anniversary is one of intense gratitude and appreciation because (after all), we take the simplest things in life for granted and then a harsh reality hits, making us realize that each day is a Blessing.

From the 1900 HOLIDATES TO CELEBRATE that I have created since July 25, 1990, came 50 books delving more into those Topics as well as Movie Scripts called:

SKiN: Sacred Kinship in Nature (TM)

How 10 Beloved Plush Toys Redefine Race (C)2009

(7 of which) deal with:

Eliminating Racism;
Dispelling the Mixed Signals we receive every Day; and
Getting to the Heart of what really matters.

Writing is the most cathartic Vice & Ploy anyone can ever do. If you don't believe me, check out the Wonders of Social Media in which everyone wants to get their 2 cents' and 2 hoots' worth in.
