(aka: ASK)

Chicago, IL USA:

Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 6 PM marks the 17TH Year Anniversary that Artist/Lifestyle Conceptualist:

ADRIENNE SIOUX KOOPERSMITH

was attacked in the lobby of her apartment building, violently assaulted and robbed. After such a harrowing, life or death experience, Koopersmith did not become a hermit, but turned a "Lemon into the proverbial Lemonade" by strategically founding the First Educational Crusade employing Comic Art and fine Cartoonery through her Creation of

CARTOONISTS AGAINST CRIME ©1991.

Because Crime Prevention was #1 on President Wm. Clinton's Agenda, the Crusade struck a chord with everyone who came into contact with it, not only on a political, but social and artistic front, locally, nationally and internationally, 'drawing' upon the attention of novice to experienced Cartoonists, Artists and Graphic Designers.

Setting a Milestone in using a Cartoon to save a Precious Life, ASK's Slogan was:

CAC: We draw Cartoons - NOT Guns!

The last 17 years have been extremely creative for ASK as she has developed a Series of Crusades all aimed at showing Humanity that there is (and always has been) a better way to pursue Life through the Arts.
