Attn: Scriptapalooza Entrants - that is all of us lucky ones who entered MARK's Contest. According to MM: My Math there are only 91 more long and gruelling Days 2 go.The Countdown diligently dwindles day-by-day. Winners announced August 15 -- accordg 2 my calendar - that's pretty darn soon, but, of course, not soon enough. BTW: I attended Columbia College Chicago's Manifesto Party yesterday - May 14TH -- a (wild) Streetwide Graduation Party for their graduates. While there, I spoke to an Alumnae who now works in LA's Film Industry(and this is 1 of the best creative/arts/film schools in the country that places each of their grads) who told me that IF you do not have a literary agent or a movie producer-uncle, then to ENTER CONTESTS. That's how to 'get discovered' these days. Wanted to share that tid-bit/byte w/you.
Tomoro the Scriptapalooza count will be 90...too bad we can't reverse our ages or weights this way & way!
