The Daily Splurge: Volume 5 - Issues #217+ via ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith, The Queen of Splurge & Creator of National Splurge Day ©1994. Issues January 24, 2015 et. al.

20+ Years of an Eventological Phenomena

introduced by ASK:

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #217 for Saturday, January 24, 2015 zooms in on a Saturday, sometimes a day of taking it easier than ever,  1 of 2  of the most popular Days of the Weekend when the Living is easier.  According to Today's Day, it's been complete 24 days - 2 Dozen Days of Splurging. Time to take inventory of those to see which were the most important and which you will continue for lack of anything better to do when the URGE TO SPLURGE takes over.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #218 for Sunday, January 25, 2015 marks the First Month Anniversary that #SANTA_IS_RETIRING, one of my other major Crusades (which is presenting itself as a Book – Screenplay & Coffee Coasters), now heightened because of the Terrorist Attack on the Offices of Charlie Hebdo in Paris.  On the 25TH of each month, it’s time to BUY – INVEST in COMIC ART as it is the only Art Form and Format that tells you THE NEWS  - gives you a Valued Opinion - in a Panel or Character’s precise Expression or less.

As the Founder/Creator/Curator of:

Cartoonists Against Crime ©1991
Cartoonists Against Terrorism ©2001

I highly believe in equal rights for one and all, no matter what the Color of their Skin or Mercedes. If you can’t laugh and make light of something (that is not derogatory or hurtful) then what’s your Problem?

A SELECT FEW – VERY FEW:  I am 1 of only 300 People (throughout the Continental USA) who was fortunate enough to be able to BUY & SUPPORT  a Collector’s Copy -  The Latest - HOT OFF THE PRESS of Charlie Hebdo: The French Satirical that was published after the 12 Cartoonists were massacred on January 7, 2015.  I’m already receiving requests of Five-Figures for that Issue.  However, this Copy rates as one of my Reason d’Etre and Cartoonic Estate.  Parting with such a Significant Statement (at such a cost of Human Life as this has become) is not really on my Drawing Board.

While standing in line at City Newsstand in Evanston, IL (Corner of Chicago Avenue and Main Streets from 5:15 AM on January 23, 2015), I was interviewed by ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox 32, WGN, WBBM & The Evanston Review as well as different pairs of Northwestern University Students (Reporter and Cameraman) who also woke up early in order to see how supportive We Americans were going to be.  I was the only person thoughtful enough to hold a Sign:

which is now 1 of the top Hashtags in the Cyber World.

Therefore, because our Freedoms and Amendments and Rights are what and how We stay as democratized as we are as Americans, I ask you all to support those who have died for your Freedoms.  Make your Splurge count today.
FYI:  On October 25, 1993, Mayor Richard M. Daley made October 25 CARTOONISTS AGAINST CRIME DAY ©1993 – at my Urging. Therefore, the 25TH of each Month  from this Point onwill honor those who have died in Paris standing up while at their Drawing Boards.

Furthermore for those of you seeking more COMIC ART News, I had also contacted:

Governor Jim Edgar
State of Illinois

In early 1993 and he proclaimed December 3 as DAY WITHOUT CRIME ©1993.  I received from him a Red Ribbon / Gold Leaf Proclamation for the Occasion.  Sponsors and Angel Investors, of course, are needed to further this Crusade, now so illustrious and intuitive as our World grows all the more hostile.

Id’ be happy to speak to those further interested in these Campaigns:

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #219 for Monday, January 26, 2015 relates to Weather (and the Havoc it causes) as the East Coast (of the USA) is gripping one of the greatest Blizzards (a snow storm on acid) that is scheduled to strike the Area, perhaps in all of Recorded Time since Meteorology became as important as your Daily Splurge.  When caught in a Situation that is bigger than you are, caving and giving in is a Form of Survival.  Make sure you splurge on the right Products:  Water / Sliders / Chocolate and then you’ll be set to sit-out-the-storm while you wait for Spring to arrive – in less than 2 months.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #220 for Tuesday, January 27, 2015 relates to Climactic Conditions as those are what occurred last night (on January 26, 2015) to the East Coast of the United States of America, only proving what We have already known, but never want to admit:

“If the Terrorists don’t get us; Mother Nature will.”

Quote of ASK: Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith
Tuesday, January 27, 2015 – 8:20 AM

although I have thought of that for so long a time.

Psychologically, bad Weather takes a Toll on us, but when it comes to SPLURGING – spending to Excess or even Spending (period), it’s only on the Hours before the Storm hits that People (in a group state of Frenzy) buy up what they can to make sure they make it through the Storm, adequately. This often includes Water, extra Food and a few Board Games so the Boredom is alleviated.

However, on a grander Scale, Billions of Dollars are lost when such a Blizzard (or Hurricane) – a

Wintericane or a properly known as a Blizzicane ®

as I call it hits the designated area.  Economic Analysts will have those Figures deciphered for us in the Course of due time (a week after the Storm has passed), but We all know that as soon as it’s safe to go OUT INTO THE COLD, People will be doing that and making up for lost time.  Tiz the Way Western Democracies work.  And, Work is good as Invention is the Pattern to the Future – the Future of Splurge.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #221 for Wednesday, January 28, 2015 is something many of us do not plan for, ever happening although it’s in the back of many a young girls’ minds.  And that is:

To get married…

And all the SPLURGE things that have to happen on that special Day.  Yup, mine is coming up.  Robert & I are going to TDN:  Tie_The_Knot either February 9 or 16TH, immediately after he turns 65 on February 8 and I turn 62.5 on February 9 or it may be February 16 in which National Splurge Day ©1994 – 1 of my top 3 favorite Holidates turns 20.5.  Where does one get started on such a Preparation?  Google, of course.
The Best is yet to come…
And, yes, I do have my latest Twitter Handle all picked out. It will be:

I like that RING!

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #222 for Thursday, January 29, 2015 marks the 6TH Year Anniversary of my Literary & CinematicCreation of:

SKiN: Sacred Kinship in Nature ™
How 10 Beloved Plush TOYS Redefine Race ©2009

At exactly 8:44 AM this Morning back on January 29, 2009 (while living in my  other Chicago Locale), I work up and instantaneously this Acronym:

came to mind. It was to became the entire Basis of the 7 Part Book & Movie Sequel.

Currently 4 of the 7 Stories are completed.  Had not a few horrific Copyright Infringement Cases (multi-millionaire corps stealing my work and putting it on the 3 major  television networks) gotten in my way; a move, these set-backs tampered with my timing as I expected all 7 to be done in record time –such was my Productivity & Creative Streak at that time.

However, in July of 2010,

Beat out 3,164 other Scripts in the
Scriptapalooza International Screenplay Competition

Based in Hollywood, California where ONLY seasoned Professionals read the Scripts.  Therefore, they knew what would be popular and sell.
Currently, an ANGEL INVESTOR is needed for me to pursue this Series.  It also now contains my latest Crusade:

Cartoonists Against Racism ©2015
A Division of:
Cartoonists Against Crime  ©1991
Cartoonists Against Terrorism ©2001

That ignited again on January 7, 2015 when the French Satirical Magazine, CHARLIE HEBDO was terrorized and 12 Cartoonists massacred.  I am 1 of the 300 Americans who has a Copy of  the First Wave of that Magazine infiltrating the USA (arrival date being January 23, 2015).   An heirloom and collectible that is gong for $140,000 on Ebay.

I was also interviewed by 10 major Media including the Press (and University Journalists), unafraid to proudly hold that Paper up in Solidarity.  A list of those will be added to this Blog by mid-February once all the Interviews have been found and completed for your perusal.  This also marks a treasure trove for those doing research on Comic Art & Cartoons.

As with all of my Concepts, Volumes have been penned.

Splurging (in your own Way and with your own Style) and marking the Dates in which those Phenoms happened is what puts the relevance into LIFE into Life and the “G” into Gratitude.

I’d be more than happy to discuss more with you.  Merely contact me initially with an email at:

If you wish to participate in any of these Creative Adventures & Ventures.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #223 for Friday, January 30, 2015 is a Time to Splurge in Amounts of Thirty.  These can then be divvied up as groceries – candies – toys, PC gadgets  - candles (for a romantic time as Valentine’s Day is beckoning) and given as Gifts for SuperBowl Weekend. IF you’re short on Cash, Dollar Stores are the best Means to this End:  $30 for 30 Products and the Splurge is completed within an hour.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #224 for Saturday, January 31, 2015 allows you to take an Inventory of your first Months’ Splurges for the New Year and decide which ones are the most effective; most fun, etc.  By being able to do this mere Fete, you will have a much better grip on how to SPLURGE with really is not as easy as it looks, but then it is.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #225 for Sunday, February 1, 2015 coincides with the American Game of all Games, The SuperBowl.  How super can a Bowl become?  It’s up to the Splurger himself/herself as to what s/he wishes to put into it and on this Special Sunday, the Sky is the limit as People dish out tens of thousands for a mere ticket.  Winners be losers, but it’s all in how the Game is played.  The Queen’s Platinum Bowls are marked at over $100,000 pounds in dollars (salsa and chips) not included.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #226 for Monday, February 2, 2015 – Ground Hog’s Day means the Splurge can be taken with your Favorite Ground Hog whether its Punxtawney Phil  (Pennsylvania) or Woodstock Willy (Illinois), a Vacation to one of these locales will delight your Inner Ground Hog – getting out into Nature which is mandatory for one’s health.  Most of us do not own a Ground Hog – that’s highly unlikely and complicated when getting a License for Ownership of a Wild Animal, but bundle up and ‘weather the storm’ that is gripping parts of the USA now and double up on the Second Day of the Second Month.  That’s a Splurge to the Second Hour of Power. OK by me.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #227 for Tuesday, February 3, 2015 asks a simple Question that is undoubtedly in the Minds of great Men & Women (who are undoubtedly Splurge-a-holics) everywhere. It is:

Q:  Are there Winter and Summer Toys for TOYSDAY (and TOYSDAYS, collectively advanced) where Collectors automatically tend to SPLURGE on or is this a Category in which it depends on how involved the Person is with their own private Splurge Collection?

The Term ‘Collection’ here means a total Compilation of what was splurged on; when; where and how it was completed as an Act or Urge, involving the Holidate ASK advanced, created and founded called:

Influencing what and how many of a kind (of any Thing) is simply is a Marketing Issue, But once a Collection is started (with any item over 3 pieces), tht Collection can grow insurmountably and become the Pride, Joy and Big Part of the Owner’s Estate.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #228 for Wednesday, February 4, 2015  finds many of us in a state of suffering (not splurging) being still snowed in with many Chores already completed (due to the Fact there is purely  nothing else to do) and finding that our MoJo has disappeared.  A complete Condition and Ailment that I have named as:

Cabin Feveritis

or Cabin Fever (whether you live in a Cabin or Condo or Cottage)

is slighting your Daily Activities to a near stand-still.  You are NOT alone.

If you are one of those – one of us –  who participates in my Daily:

now in its 20TH Year,  you merely take your last #227  Splurges and divide them up in Five (5) Categories, as in:

1 - Most Favorite Splurge – Last Favorite Splurge

2 - Splurges dealing with Group Involvement vs. Splurges done on the Solo/Individual Effort

3 - Most Expensive Splurge versus  least Expensive Splurge.

4 - Food-based Splurge:

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #229 for Thursday, February 5, 2015 came about as a Dream my Fiancé had and told me about.  He spoke about an itch he had on his Ring Toe.  Ring Toe? I asked not knowing what he meant. I had heard of women wearing rings on their toes, but men referring to this came as a startle, something I had not expected; especially on a cold winterized  Chicago  where the temps did not go up above 16 degrees. “This calls for a Splurge,” I announced.  Therefore, the SPLURGE FOR TODAY for those who especially live in Warmer Climates is to SPLURGE on Toe Rings.  I hear they come in all shapes and sizes.  I wonder what Robert will be dreaming about tonight that comes into Fierce Competition with Friday’s Fossil Finds’ Days.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #230 for Friday, February 6, 2015 highlights one of my top 25 HOLIDATES.  Called PAC DAY ©1994, the Essence revoles around the Clause:

to someone who did something nice for you/others or exhibited a Gesture that warrants that that Person be noticed for that Act.  The compliment MUST BE sincere; not one in which to gain anything from another Person(ae). It’s a long, long Story on how this HOLIDATE transpired in my Odyssey and Literary Marketplace called:

The Art of Event-Making

ASK’s Campaigns For Humanity ©1990

that has accrued over 1900 HOLIDATES TO CELEBRATE, but rest assured, a simple Compliment goes a long, long ways. EVENTOLOGY ® celebrates its 25TH Year on July 25, 2015…

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #231 for Saturday, February 7, 2015 focuses on an Event – outside of HOLIDATES & EVENTOLOGY in which we get to SPLURGE. It’s known as the BIRTHDAY in which all 7.7 Billion of us Earthlings have a Birthday every year. Sometimes we don’t know WHO others are (except for Celebrities) who share our Special Date, but those can always be gathered by doing a GOOGLE Search for those who share that special time.

Tomorrow marks the 65TH Birthday of my Fiancee, Robert therefore, lots of scurrying around to perfect his Party is in order for today.  When the URGE TO SPLURGE takes hold, there’s no finer time than spoiling your Man when he hits his Special Mark.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #232 for Sunday, February 8, 2015 is a Carry-Over from yesterday’s Activities when I put the finishing touches on Robert’s 65TH Birthday, scheduled for today.  Now is the Time for him to take advantage of those Splurges.  After all, a Guy is entitled and there’s no one more deserving than he is.

How do you plan on spoiling your Favorites this year?  Send those Ideas over here and they may be enlisted here – include your Blog or Website so others can visit that URL for more info.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #233 for Monday, February 9, 2015 is something we all share. It’s our Half Birthday Celebration. And such is this DATE:  February 9, 2015 – in which I have turned:

How am I celebrating?  By relaxing. With a plethora of items to splurge on, the category of RELAXATION means a lot so that I can plow through the next Half of 62 with tremendous gains and zero pains!
Which is a pretty cool statement in and of itself for my:
AFSEE: Advocates For Senior Equality & Enrichment ©2002

Papers – Essays – Documents.
After all, few of us get to meet and greet our SIXTIES –where  60 is SEXTY – according to a Birthday Greeting I had placed on Robert, my Fiancée’s Birthday Cake when he turned 60 on February 8, 2010.  And, of course, that’s a Truth.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #234 for Tuesday, February 10, 2015 takes us back to our FUNnicular Times with TOYS – as Tuesdays are designated as TOYS-Day  as well as Thursday is reconverted to TOYS-Day.  Children across the planet play with toys.  They only get all the more sophisticated the older we get.  Therefore, for today:  Shop – buy – splurge – give – play with a TOY.  The time you do that decreases stress and strain.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #235 for Wednesday, February 11, 2015 is the First Month & 21st year Anniversary – Birthday – Celebration Date of my HOLIDATE:

International Thank You Days ©1994.

Keeping in stride with how SPLURGING affects the act & art of Thanking and being gracious, make – buy – get a gift for someone that has been good to you and give it to him/her.  If that doesn’t make for a special Splurge Surprise, then I don’t know what does.  The 11TH Day of each Month can be marked and commemorated by doing JUST that.  Nothing else is as nice as an Unexpected Thank You.   Written – Spoken or in a Material Essence, it’s the way to make a Person’s Day more special than it is.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #236 for Thursday, February 12, 2015 marks President Abraham Lincoln’s 206TH Birthday.  Imagine the changes that have occurred since 1809; when the WORD Splurge really was only left up to the Oil Moguls of the World and Royalty.  Yes, there was a time when the Average Person did not splurge since the Makings of anything extra was not heard of.  It was hard enough to get through a cold winter in 1849; not everyone hit gold when they went to California to seek their fame and fortune in gold.  It’s an interesting topic to read about.  The History of different Parts of the World; what they are known for (besides various dishes that are originals from those parts of the World); and how we today (for the most part) have access to them with a few points and clicks.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #237 for Friday, February 13, 2015 begins the Weekend and a very important one at that.  Today, for instance is my Floating Holidate known as International Skeptics’ Days ©1996 – that always falls on FRIDAY THE 13TH for the most obvious of reasons.  For Fossil Lovers who enjoy THE SPLURGE, now is the time to collect them; go out in to the Field and find more and/or go to a Nature Museum in order to learn more about Prehistory, the one place that none of us will ever get the chance to revisit. Unless, it is through Story, Myth or Lies that seem to be common place this week.  For the Romantic amongst us, it is also the Start of Valentine’s Day Weekend when the Major Splurge is on Flowers or Candy. An exotic Excursion to a warm(er) location is also on many people’s to do lists, especially so with the abundance of SNOW that Mother Nature has blanketed upon and over us.  Whatever your Splurge-of-Choice is, enjoy it as the days get longer (and hopefully for us in the Northern Climes) warmer.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #238 for Saturday, February 14, 2015 is Valentine’s Day when SPLURGING is  a given. However, it depends on who you want to give IT to, whatever IT may be.  This depends on an assortment of factors, but one thing is for certain on this particular date in 2015 and that is:  Valentine’s Day falls on a weekend when the LOVE can last for at least 3 days until Human Nature kicks back in again.    Cruel and harsh as that may seem for such a LOVE-ly Holiday as this, just read the Headlines.  2015 is the Year of the Lie and for sound reasons that I advanced in November of 2014 that is the Reason why:

The latest in my Book & Screenplay Series.  Producer and Angel Investors, needed, of course.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #239 for Sunday, February 15, 2015 already past the Middle-Mark of February, the shortest day of the year, but one that’s highly important for several Facts, historical as it is.  February sees my PAC: Pay A Compliment Day ©1996 – Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday – Black History Month – The Grammies.  Just because the Time is shorter than most, doesn’t mean you can’t find plenty of Topics to splurge on.  Now, that’s it the 15TH of February, you still have 13 more days to make the MOST OF THAT.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #240 for Monday, February 16, 2015 is a Time to splurge on Winter-Ware.  Contrary to popular belief, Winter is still here for many of us who yearn to be living in the Southern Climates.  Therefore, as we near to changing Seasons in both Hemispheres, the Sales are beginning to enter the stores and our favorite shops.  If you’re living in a Southern Hemisphere, you may do the same Action Activity for NATIONAL SPLURGE DAY’s Monday, version, only in reverse For those of you in the mood with plenty of income to help others,   buy 6-12 extras of what quantity you are buying and share with those in a homeless shelter.  This way of giving back is useful to so many.    For Americans, they may wish to splurge on all things AMERICANA since today is President’s Day in the USA, honoring our Presidents, past and present.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #241 for Tuesday, February 17, 2015 coincides precisely with Today’s News Stories on Technology & Toys and how combining the Two may just be the biggest Coupe of 2015. Therefore, to get a grasp and grip of what’s happening for TOYSday – every Tuesday and Thursday, explore more on this Topic – TOYpic as ASK, The Queen of Splurge reinterprets that Term. Now, at the ground level, it’s time to invest in these TOYS so that they become highly sought Collectibles in the Decades ahead.  ‘To invest in’ also means to SPLURGE on here at SPLURGE CENTRAL for those of you ignorant about current Splurge Terminology.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #242 for Wednesday, February 18, 2015 because when the NUMBER – NUMERICAL GAME is played and the number is the Good Luck / Life Sign of 18 in Hebrew along with the 18TH of the Month, the Date that initiated

Then we know that if someone is going to splurge, it will have to be 18 times over.  Most of us have two dozen great friends that we should be treating once a month.  Now is the time to HIT the Stores running as many super winter sales are on now in which to treat those who treat you the best even better yet.  Times Eighteen ® is the new Motto of

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #243 for Thursday, February 19, 2015 is a Question Club Splurge Members (part and parcel of NSD) are asking.  Because it is interesting and because a Group is wondering, this is considered a bit of Common Knowledge from the Collective Conscience that We all have and can delve into and learn (from).  That Question is:  Since I cannot get out to splurge, ASK, then how do I do it?

That’s a great question to ask. Consider the City of Boston that has lost billions of dollars in lost revenue since it has been hit by every storm and noreastern that traversed the USA the last 6 Weeks?  When traveling is not possible, you can do 2 things:

1.      Stockpile those Splurges for a loftier, springier and milder day;  and/or
2.      Take the chance and do it anyway
It depends on how brave you are.  Let’s not forget that the Internet is the biggest mall there is.  Leave it to the delivery man.  He’s getting paid to go out when you don’t have to and probably should not

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #244for Friday, February 20, 2015 is for the Book-o-Phile. To close out the last third of the Winter Season or Summer Season in the Southern Hemisphere, take a poll of your Friends likes in books and then buy that copy.  Use it as the BOOK TO READ for the next month.  Not only are you splurging on Fine Literature, but you are learning something through the Eyes of an Author who has something to say.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #245 for Saturday, February 21, 2015 is for the calendar watchers amongst us.  Today signals the Second Third of the Winter with next Month (at this Time):

March 21, 2015

Being the First Official Day of Spring.

Official or not, millions of us are yearning for warmer weather and longer days.  What’s better than preparing for that with how you plan to splurge once all of that climatical and meteorological changes fall into place?  An ideal Time for Gardner’s to figure out what they will be planting.  A great time for Fashionistas to figure out what’s on their Radar.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #246 for Sunday, February 22, 2015 takes it from US President George Washington, born on the 22nd of the Month.  Washington is a commonplace name; therefore, Restaurants, Museums and Books can be visited and/or read in order to keep with the Theme.  And, who knows, with the Washingtons amongst us, maybe some of their Expertise will rub off.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #247 for Monday, February 23, 2015 is the last Monday of February.  Therefore, it’s time to take what’s known as SPLURGE Inventory to see what else is needed to finalize the last month of Winter in the Northern Climes and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere. This is a great time for parents and teachers to instill Value into their children and students. After all, a SPLURGE that is economical allows for money to be put away for a rainy day and/or for the purchase of a Greater Splurge yet.  Multi-levelled as it is, NATIONAL SPLURGE DAY ©1994 affects us all and knows no borders.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #248 for Tuesday, February 24, 2015 allows the splurge to SPLURGE in clumps of 24 – 2 dozen of anything that is splurgeworthy can be shared with the community and/or stashed away in case Life gets in the way and other events occur that prevent you from splurging for the bar necessities that get us through our Days ahead.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #249 for Wednesday, February 25, 2015 falls on Buc Pantelis’ 65TH Birthday combined with the February comeback of Charlie Hebdo, the French Satirical Magazine as well as Greek Independence Day.  With Birthdays and Publishing, there’s bound to be a numberless variety of things that have to be splurged on. When variety is the spice of life, that’s mighty nice, even if the Depth of a Chicago Winter.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #250 for Thursday, February 26, is a return to splurging on TOYS that not only brighten one’s day but there’s a story behind each one of them if you let your Sense of Imagination run wild.  Therefore, in order to take my 1998 writing known as:

To the next level, I’m splurging on TOY Birds today…as they fly to the top of my List of best Toys to splurge on. Then, we’ll see what happens after that!

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #251 for Friday, February 27 marks the last Friday of February, meaning Friday Night takes on a different meaning.  When slighted on days that means we have to UP the power of the Splurge which is not a difficult thing to do, no matter what month of the year it is.  Review your former Friday Splurges for Inspiration.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #252 for Saturday, February 28 marks the last Saturday of February, meaning the Splurges that you buy today should be half off.  Become a Member of CLUB: SPLURGE ©1994 for that list of Companies that honor our Wishes because:  The Urge to Splurge is one of the nicest Things in Life…
As for me as I put the finishing touches on my Book & Movie Script:

The Bird Who Didn’t Learn How To Fly ©1998

I’m making a return back to the local Toy Shops on the North Side of Chicago to stock up on more BIRD TOYS.  The ones for humans that is. After all, they are very inspirational, as are the birds behind them.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #253 for Sunday, March 1, 2015 starts meteorological Spring and the Countdown to Spring, a time  that is very SPLURGE like  - beginning with the first 2 letters of the word:

You do the math.  Turn on your Imagination and start formalizing the LISTS OF SPLURGES you plan to make as we wind up Winter the next 3 Weeks  and begin and welcome in a new Season.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #254 for Monday, March 2, 2015 is marks exactly one month since Ground Hog’s Day.  An awfully cute Animal, it’s time to treat your Pet to a splurge.  After all, they, too, like treats and do appreciate them.

National Splurge Day’s The Daily Splurge #255 for Tuesday, March 3, 2015 marks the Phrase:  Now is the time.  Time to do what?  Splurge?  Exactly.  Many of us who are limited funds cannot do it quite yet – till after our tax returns come back, but you can always start planning what that GIANT splurge will be.  For those who are wealthy, feel free to share the wealth. With Forbes top billionaires coming out, you know WHO you are and so do with…thanks to the Wonders of the Internet – a Splurger’s Best Friend.
