Everything you ever wanted to ask ASK about SKiN: The Book & Script. #8

Chicago, IL USA:

The fact that 2010 is quickly ticking away is yet another Cause as to why many resolutions will be broken sooner than later. However, that does not have to be the case. When I began writing:

SKiN: Sacred Kinship in Nature ™
How 10 Beloved Plush Toys Redefine Race ©2009

I was bound (pun not really intended) and determined to make a Statement, no matter what time it was (in the life of an Ambitious Baby Boomer) and whatever conditions Mother Nature was causing, since I live in an Environment where there seems to be more Winter and Construction going on than actual Spring & Summer. Therefore with that in mind, it's good to keep in your Mind, Dear Readers, that anything can be accomplished if the Enthusiasm is there...

Another Enthusiastic Person happy in his SKiN was Elvis Presley who was born 75 years ago. With computers, we can generate a Photo of what Elvis would look like with silver streaks in his massive mane, but what he stood for was to get PEOPLE up and moving...of which far too many of us don't 'shake our booties' like the King did. Not only is it easy to lose weight that way, but moving is a great way to circulate, which is important for a long life, one that Elvis was not fortunate to have in his OWN SKiN although he is attributed to giving thousands of people 'work' and jobs for decades...

Which brings us up to his Wife, Priscilla. In the SKiN she is in, she is a wealthy woman, but looking at her Internal Conflicts, it must be very sad thinking that if she were to become involved with a Man, he would automatically think that she is forever devoted to ELVIS because she runs 'his Manor.' Yes, even with all the money a person could have in the entire world, it does not matter in the least -- because he may not be happy within the SKiN he is in. Such is the way of Life being a Human. The way you measure happiness depends on many Factors, but always remembers it begins with you and a positive outlook, no matter what color of SKiN we were born in.

Without further adieu, TICK-TOCK.

CLOSING: Please stay tuned for another Segment of defining SKiN ©2009 tomorrow, which will be a Month-long Blog Series of KOOPERSMITHin'® celebrating the First Year Anniversary of the Composition of this Book and Movie Script.
