A few Words about Valentine's Day, 2009.

Chicago, IL USA:

It's not how many red roses you receive today,

how much the expensive Dinner out was,

how big the heart-shaped box of candy was,

it's the time spent with your Loved One that counts the most.

So was the Theme of NBC local Chicago News, Channel 5 this morning when I got up and flicked on TheTube. It was nice to realize this, that in Times when Commerciality has taken over the Airwaves, the True Essence of Holidays (that are oft times used to kickstart an ailing Economy), it's the Core and Essence of the Event that truly matters the most.

Love and not LOVE of Money is what matters.

Truer Words were never said, whether you're a Romantic, Hopeless Romantic or none of the above.
