FAUX FUR FRIDAY #9 - February's Finale...

Chicago, IL USA. It is nice to see so many people participating in FAUX FUR FRIDAYS here in Chicagoland. Wherever I go...I see people (men, women and children) wearing a variety of Patterns, Colors and Textiles of FAUX FUR. What I find especially endearing are those that take FAUX FUR to the Limits - or beyond as:

The Homeless Man with a laptop computer sitting on the Howard Red Line Train sitting and typing away. The Cover of his Laptop was covered in Faux Fur. When I asked him about it - he said it also served as his pillow at night. He didn't realize that the heat of the PC would be inhibited by the Faux Fur. Even in his humble State, he still wanted to 'dress up' his Computer. Creativity knows no Borders.

Gloves have to be given a HAND. There are more Leopard Print Gloves being worn by Chicago Women this year than ever before. The Pattern seems to match almost everything -- except an Irish Plaid, but then in cold Chicago Winters, it doesn't matter what you wear as long as you can keep warm. Keeping in Style with Faux Fur is just a reminder that some Prints never go out of style...no matter how low the Temperatures drop.

ASK's PREDICTION: With chilly March Winds blowing in like a Lion in a few days, Faux Fur will be with us for a spell...That's a Fashion Statement that will outlast the Best of Us...
