SKiN ©2009: The Script, The Book & The Odyssey: The May 17, 2009 Segment

Chicago, IL USA

As many of us are airing out our Skins for the most lovely May Day, there are a number of ways we can get exercise without feeling that it's hard work. After all, for healthy Skin -- no matter what age a person is, it's important to keep in shape and weekends are an ideal time to do this with family and friends. Running, Biking, Jogging and even Skipping are healthy ways in which to get Vitamin D, sunshine and fresh air.

Only 30 minutes a day is needed to keep physically fit. This can be broken up into an assortment of sports and/or actions. The calorie intake after exercising for a week is great, as we can see from the graph below:

Running: 150 calories per hour
Swimming: 200 calories per hour
Walking: 125 calories per hour
Biking: 100 calories per hour

Some of us would rather be Couch or Bed Potatoes in the Skin we are in, but once the Exercise is begun , it is so refreshing, you will look forward to doing it, mark my words.

For those who are into the Green Movement as I had mentioned yesterday, even cleaning up our Environment is a healthy workout -- for you and for the parks that you may be de-littering. Think about it: The ground we walk on is really Nature's Skin - keep it healthy and you, too will be fit as a fiddle.
