Chicago, IL USA:
The following was posted on Scriptapalooza's popular Facebook Page after the Winners were announced:
What! No Women Winners! Isn’t that mighty sexist, Mark? All kidding aside - CONGRATULATIONS to Andrew, David & Brien, the latest winners of Scriptapalooza's Screenwriting Competition! Although I’m surprised and highly disappointed you did not have a Woman Winner. Wouldn’t that be more genderly correct in this day & age? How HAPPY U must all feel. U must be tingling and numb.
CUTTING TO THE CHASE: Having headed my own PRAM: Public Relations - Advertising - Marketing Biz since 1979 -- I'd like to give you (Andrew, David & Brien) a TWEET at:
so once the adrenalin subsides (that will probably run for the next year) feel free to send your log line to me & I shall happily post it 4 you.
However, there were many great Scripts ‘out there’ and The Forces of Hollywood should not forget. Namely, these are The Quarterfinalists who did beat out 3141 others – from a pool of 3546 hopefuls. Now, being in a state of limbo, I took the liberty to post the remaining Quarterfinalists who did not go on to become Semifinalists at:
with a note stating that IF you send your logline & appropriate contact info, I will then post that – as another way to get some well-needed attention since we are now on our own from this point on.
I also posted an in-depth question entitled:

Hopefully, with their large data base (over 6100 followers/fans) someone will have some insight and openly share it – or better yet, take an active interest in the Strides the Scriptapalooza Quarterfinalists have made. After all, this is a milestone and can be used to further our writing careers.
As a Quarterfinalist, I’ve sent out quite a bit of plugs since July 23, 2010 when the Quarterfinalists were announced and have attained some interesting feedback to date. However, since promotions are a daily task, it’s important to keep that CANDLE burning and that is what I intend to do!
It’s time to thank Mark & Genevieve for holding this contest for us. It’s a great opportunity that can’t be compared.
