A Happy Belated Birthday to Mayor Rahm Emanuel of Chicago who turned 52 yesterday.

RedEye Chicago had a ‘thoughtful’ picture of him on P. 4 with the Question being asked: “What gift would you give him?” I personally found the Boston Globe’s Website called: THIS DAY IN HISTORY to be quite fascinating as it tells us what happened on each date of the year. Something indeed to bookmark. It follows for your perusal.

GETTING BACK TO REDEYE’s Big Question of the Day: What would I give the Mayor (Rahm Emanuel of Chicago) as a present? Looking back on my experience as being the First Daughter of the First Jewish Mayor of Mendota, IL, I would have to say: My Father was Mayor for nearly 16 years – 4 terms. Probably in retrospect: The Gift of Time to be spent with the Family.
