Remembering Abe Lincoln on his 204th Birthday with Koopersmith's LOST PENNY DAY ©1994

ASK's EVENTOLOGICAL DAY for Tueday, February 12, 2013 - the 204th Birthday of  our beloved 16th American President Abe Lincoln is called:

LOST PENNY DAY 1994.

"Why?"  you ask.

Because back in the early 1990s, it was easier to ask for PENNIES - Copper as they are - than for Fins - or $5 Bills -  that also noted and pictorialized that Great Man and Humanitarian, HONEST ABE - my Favorite President.

Wasn't I the one - after all - who climbed up on his statue and 'held his hand' when I was 6 years old?  The folks and I drove to Springfield, IL where alot of Lincolnabilia is found and I took the initiative. Have loved that President ever since - like so many billions of people have since he was assassinated.

Here's one of my older/vintage Blogs written about the Holidate.

Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith's Campaigns for Humanity

of which Lost Penny Day is only one of over 1900 Holidates to celebrate - all being created on or after:  Wed. July 25, 1990 at 9:45 PM CST.

After all, those Pennies do mount up and a Penny saved is a Penny earned...

After all, WWAD:  What Would Abe Do?

That would be interesting to know...
