ASK ON BIRTHDAYING: No one has mentioned yet that it's Abe Lincoln's 203rd Birthday...today so I will. I just have a Thing for OLDER MEN, U could say. Actually, most people from the State of IL know that Abe Lincoln, the 16th President of the USA got his start here...humble, modest; worked his way up; lived in a log cabin. It's an incredible Story that ended in Tragedy as 'Honest Abe' was assassinated at a Theatre @ the height of his Prime. Abe's Story involves what happened during the Civil War, his take on Civil Rights & growing up in a time without airplanes, computers & fast food chains. This all makes a person of today step-back & wonder about Life in general, specifically so.
IF UR an historian, all you need do is google: Abraham Lincoln's 203RD Birthday & U'll find an Assortment of Articles. If not for him and George (Washington) we wouldn't get this time OFF from WORK with PAY to go shopping! Happy Birthday, Mr. President...
