ASK's comm-ANT-ary on Day #2 of: ANT APPRECIATION MONTH INTERNATIONAL ©2010

August 2, 2011: Day 2 of the Second Global Celebration of:

ANT APPRECIATION MONTH INTERNATIONAL ©2010

comes to us from ANN MAYO’s comment dated Saturday, July 30- 6:24 PM where she stated:

“I bet some ants get to ANTarctica in some one's pocket! You know, they are very resourceful dispersers.”

There’s a very important Message hidden there in MISS MAYO’s commANT, quite spiritual in Nature when you think about the Concept of Roaming and where it can take us to. Whether WE (as humans) walk, run, drive, bike, flyor scoot along on our Way, ANTS have ‘roamed’ and covered nearly every Square Inch on the Planet for 130,000,000 million years. That’s covering lots of ground, ground that was much different back in ‘their earlier Days of Evolution’ as compared to what is happening on our Granite Planet now.

So why don’t ANTS live in ANT-arctica? Possibly because the turf is frozen in place; there’s no place to burrow-down; no place to farm; no pANTries to invade; and no flowers to climb over – for starters. ANT-arctica is just a rough terrain for a little ANT – even for the bigger Varieties.

If ANTS could only talk, imagine what they’d have to tell us about where they’ve been; what they’ve seen and perhaps how WE can improve what WE now have that needs some critical help before it gets any later…

More on this incredible Species – THE ANT - tomorrow as WE celebrate:

Any way you wANT to…
