August 4, 2011: Day 4 of the Second Global Celebration of:
ANT APPRECIATION MONTH INTERNATIONAL ©2010
Not many people know this. Regular people, that is, like me and you unless we have a passion and/or active interest in ANTS. Read the following outlined paragraph:
The ANTS’ relationships with non-ANTS consist of commandeering and suppression of pests, aeration of the soil, roles in ecological and biological control, performing as surgical sutures, use of our toxic venom in medicine, personalized preening services and in helping to harvest seeds for Human consumption.
The Internet is full of info on how resourceful ANTS are. So small - yet they do so much!
About 2.5 years ago, ANTS began inspiring me so much that I wrote:
iN THE COMPANY OF ANTS ©2009
that began as 1 word; then a 5-word sentence and is now, as of August 4, 2011:
2 Books and 2 Movie Scripts
and
an International Holidate®
that, in the best of all possible worlds could be animated by any of the movie-making greats as DreamWorks Animation, Tim Burton Studios and/or Disney Pixar.
It’s just too bad that ANTS really can’t be domesticated or trained. Imagine if they could – how much more they could do for us if we preferred being lazy like…oh, say: The Grasshopper.
