2 ANT-eresting Statements are:
1) An ANT's brain may have the same processing power as a Macintosh II Computer.
2) Thousands of years ago, King Solomon wrote: "Go to the ANT, consider its ways and be wise".
Of course, it’s impossible to really find out if an ANT’s processing power equates to a PC, but in order for ANTS to do what they do, they do use other sets of skills that Humans cannot even fathom.
Take today for inst-ANTS. As I watched a very small Insect – of which I did not know what or who it was, as he hovered over a yellow flower that looked similarly to a Dandelion –I thought of how he can HOVER and I can’t. He can process the pollen taken from that flower and fly away – amongst 3 things that are pretty cool to say the least.
And as King Solomon realized: Much can be learned by just watching Nature – and in this particular case: THE ANT. He didn’t get to be king for nothing, you know.
