ASK RELEASES WORD OF THE YEAR: WOTY ®: Being a writer, I’ve found that there are not enough words created to cover the vast assortment of things that run though my mind. I’m sure it’s the same way for any other creative author. Therefore, in lieu of scouring the Dictionaries for ‘near misses,’ I have been creating new Terms for over 20 years now & placing them in my Stories, Press Releases & Correspondence. Which is derived from the word: Bleak + economics. By listening to all the major media broadcasts & seeing how so many People across the world are in a bleaker situation than they have ever been, this Term certainly fits the climate and culture of our Time. “Yes, it’s a good thing the year’s almost over. Putting this chapter to rest may improve our Fortunes in 2012. Let’s hope so.
